N-gauge Virgin HST train, power car, dummy car and three coaches
N-gauge Virgin HST train - power car, dummy car and three coaches. Has not been run for some time but when tested whilst writing this listing the units ran very smoothly. No noticeable damage externally to any of the surfaces of the items.
I believe it to be a Class 43. Virgin Coach 1 Number 42127.
Virgin Coach 2 Number 42171. All the above items are marked "Grafar". Coach 3, number 3381 is a Virgin First class coach. It does not have any manufacturers name on it that I can find.. Viewed by itself it look very similar to the other coaches but when placed against them it is slightly shorter in length (about half an inch) and very slightly lower in height.
The photos show this but do seem to exaggerate the differences. There is no noticeable surface damage to this item but the coupling is missing at one end. The coupling is fine at the other end and connects correctly to the other coaches. The photos provided show the two sides of all the units, the train set up as a 4 vehicle unit, a close up of the First Class coach and the train set up as a five vehicle unit if the missing coupling were to be fitted.
