N Gauge Layout (Perfect for DC or DCC) OPEN TO OFFERS
N Gauge Layout (Perfect for DC or DCC). Part of the design was based on the Vale of Oxbury layout but the plans differed after laying.
As you can see its a bit of a blank canvas in terms of design. All the track is laid appears to be in good condition (please note there is a small bit of damage to one track but should be fairly easy to correct). All points have Peco point motors fitted with the required wires also in place. Track has wires in place too-Please note this is wires are present, but not connected to a controller etc.
Points are electro frog apart from the cross overs. In terms of wiring this layout is not far from being functional so would be ideal for any level of modeller. Whilst I don't have time to finish this, it will make a perfect project for someone wishing to get into the exhibition scene or a beginner layout. Throughout laying the track it was tested (and so were the point motors) - all trains and rolling stock passed over the track without issue and at slow speeds (this was important to me) - note all curves are greater than the minimum requirement from GF and Dapol.
140.3 cm x 92cm wide. Board 2 140.5cm x 92cm wide. Note, the total length of the layout is just over 9ft and width is 3ft. This will be fairly easy. The First image shows what the layout will look like when together (excuse the illusion of it looking folded, this is because 2 images have been cropped together).I will also be willing to deliver or meet part way at additional cost. Please contact me with your location as it will be subject total distances. The layout will fit in a Van or large vehicle (estate car).
