This locomotive was a TMC exclusive and is no longer available. The locomotives current address is 3. Note that this train will only run on DCC. The decoder has been programmed with several functions, including headlights and tail lamps that fade on and off when turned on and off (the front and rear lights are not independent due to how the circuit board has been designed), a light engine mode and braking mode. Driving this locomotive is a little more like controlling the real thing, in that it moves from stationary very slowly taking some time to get to top speed.
On slowing down, especially when reducing the throttle to zero the train will take a significant amount of time to come to a complete stop. To slow/stop the train sooner pressing and holding the brake key will gradually slow the train down to a halt.
The braking function requires a DCC controller that allows f2 to be momentary and not latched to operate as above. Should your DCC system not have this ability then I can change the brake key on request, or I can tell you how to make the change yourself. The light engine mode significantly reduces the slower acceleration and deceleration to better emulate a train moving without any wagons/coaches. Functions are mapped as followed.
F0 lights on and off. The acceleration and deceleration rates can be change to increase or decrease the effect by changing cv3 & cv4.
