Graham Farish 371-603A Class 42 D829 Magpie in BR Maroon FYE 6 Pin DCC Fitted

I have collected a lot of items for my personal collection, having gone through a number of fads and phases and changes of eras, or I liked a model and bought it. My display cabinets have been filled to overflowing a number of times and then I decide to have a clear out and start collecting something else. Both teral2 and teraltrains dynamics are based on my experience as a train guard at Kings Cross in the 1970s, a keen interest in model railways and many years of experience in retail and public sector business. I treat my customers the same way that I wish to be treated. So, you can expect the same quality service from both teraltrains and teral2.

The items that I sell as teral2 are from my own personal collection, so my invoice/receipts will not show VAT. My Terms & Conditions describe my responsibilities to you. I do my best to describe whether the item is new or used and its overall condition.

If you have any questions on an item, please feel free to message me. Thanks for your time and I hope you find something you like. Graham Farish 371-603A Class 42 D829'Magpie' BR Maroon Full Yellow Ends - 6 Pin DCC Fitted. Ly Detailed Model - with Working Front, Headcode & Tail Lights and unopened spares bag. Excellent/ 9.8 (Slight Shelf Wear).

Complete / 9 (Inc 6 Pin Decoder Sheet). On receipt, I checked the loco, ran it in on my rolling road for 2 hours and fitted a new Bachmann 36-558A 6 Pin Decoder.

The loco has been kept in dry/dark storage and is in excellent condition. She runs very smoothly and all the lights work well (see photos). The plastic case is excellent with no cracks or marks.

The cardboard sleeve is 9.8/10 with just the tiniest amount of shelf wear. The spares bag is unopened and the 6 Pin Blanking Plug is present. All the Graham Farish paper work is enclosed, including a copy of the Bachmann DCC Decoder data sheet. This is a superb example of a Maroon Class 42 and will be sure to please. I had been planning a large DCC N Gauge project at the time but I have decided to go back to 00 Gauge.

This is a genuine sale item from my own private N Gauge collection. You can be assured that it will be very well wrapped and packed. I have described the item to the best of my ability but please feel free to ask questions. Thank you for your interest. Note: This Farish Class 42 is 6 Pin DCC Fitted and will run on DCC Only.

The Decoder Address is Factory Default 3. That means the goods I sell you must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, unless clearly described as otherwise e. All my items will be clearly described as to condition (whether new or used).

This includes the loco, the box, spares/attachments/nameplates etc. And paperwork and any other associated presentation material. If the box is damaged, then I will say so and describe it as best I can, with photograph(s). Will be checked to ensure all is present and correct.

The loco will be security marked before despatch. If the item (Box) is received badly damaged in transit.

Time is of the essence here and taking photographs is very helpful. On receipt of the item and finding that the packaging and loco box are sound, undamaged and as described and that the contents are satisfactory and complete, I would strongly encourage you to test the item as soon as is reasonably practicable. When removing a loco from its housing and wrapping, for first inspection, I recommend that you use cotton or latex gloves. Always read and act on the manufacturers instructions enclosed. This includes using the correct controller and voltage setting (DC or DCC) and appropriate levels of power when running in.

I appreciate you may choose to store the item unopened and untested but please understand that this will make any future discovery of a fault more difficult to resolve. Also, if the bagged spares/nameplates have been opened and/or incorrectly fitted, broken or lost. Use of incorrect voltage or faulty/substandard controller equipment. Or careless use of the loco during live operation. Which actions result in damage to the loco motor, circuit boards and parts, wiring, decoder/sound card (if fitted) and/or lights etc. The fitting (and removal) of DCC decoders. Sound cards, speakers and other devices by the customer.

This includes physical removal of any factory fitted suppression coils and/or capacitors. If you intend to fit a decoder, please make sure that you have fully tested the model and have carefully followed the manufacturers instructions (including running in) first. I will assume that if you open the loco to fit a decoder, you are satisfied with the quality, operation and presentation of the loco, the box, spares/attachments/nameplates and paperwork etc. And have thus accepted full ownership and personal responsibility for the item.

I will not accept a return if a loco has been taken apart by the customer. (including powder weathering) and/or detailing by modified numbers, transfers or nameplates being added or removed in any way. The security mark has been removed or defaced. The security seal determines whether the loco has been opened (body removed from chassis).

I reserve the right to take legal action against anyone who seeks to defraud me by knowingly attempting to return an item to me that was not mine. Loss or damage by the customer. To the box, spares/attachments/nameplates etc.
